Wedding Party Tips

Updated: Dec 4, 2022

You can't get married without your squad, so let's review some of our best tips for managing your "I Do Crew"!

Among the above, here are some additional suggestions:

  • The "Ask"- This can be whatever you want it to be. We always recommend making it personal and not something that comes off casually in passing, to show your appreciation for their friendship and involvement.

  • The Bachelor/Bachelorette Party- However you choose to #celebrait, as we alluded to above, NOTICE is key. There is a chance those in your wedding party are in varying stages of life and therefore have different schedules and commitments. The best things in life are free as they say, and notice for important dates is no exception.

  • Goodness gracious- Being gracious and appreciative should be your go to attitude with your wedding squad. As with ANYTHING in life, you never know what someone else is going through. It could be a "happy go lucky" time in their life where they are fully present, or perhaps they are going through a breakup and all the "love is in the air" is a bit suffocating. Such an important day with your most important people requires a delicate balance of expectations and appreciation. Not everyone is going to get back to you on their hair/makeup plans in a timely manner, book the right hotel, or be on top of all wedding timelines, and that is OKAY. I invite you to take a step back and reflect on the meaning of your wedding day, as well as the true beauty of having your favorite people participate in this monumental celebration.

XOXO, Kait
